Membership and Job Prices

We offer a number of membership levels and job prices to suit your needs and budget. There are no contracts, simply pay per month or per quarter - change your membership level or cancel at any time.

What is included with membership

Trade membership includes the following - click to expand each section to see more details.

Create a detailed profile for your business to show case your company and what you do.

Add a company image, photos of your work, references from previous customers, insurance details, qualifications, memberships, certifications and more.

Your profile is sent to customers whose jobs you wish to quote on and is also available in search engine results and to FindaTrade homeowner users who search for tradespeople.

Membership gives you access to all job leads for your trade skills in your coverage area.

We will notify you of new jobs posted by email, we also recommend using our Tradesman App in order to respond to jobs faster (see below for more details).

The Tradesman app allows you to respond to homeowner jobs even faster when you're on the go.

As well as providing access to all new jobs, you can also view previously purchased leads so you always have customer details to hand.

The app is only available to trade members once you have joined and been approved. To get the app you will either need to search for 'findatrade tradesman app' in your smartphone's app store or download it from either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Advert+

Advert+ gives you an enhnaced online profile, which includes:

  • Your own company webpage without FindaTrade branding, for you to use on your business cards, invoices, advertismets and marketing products
  • Contact details are shown publicly to all users who search for you
  • Gallery section where you can upload and display upto 15 photos of your work
  • Company image is shown publicly

After the 14 day trial period, Advert+ is then charged at £5 + VAT a month. if you do not wish to coninue using it, simple turn off the autorenew in your account.

SMS Notifications

Text notifications are sent to the mobile number of your choose when a new job is posted and include a link to view the job from your phone.

After the 14 day trial period, this service is charged monthly at the amount shown in your account. Prices depend on the number of jobs within your coverage area for your trade categories.

If you do not wish to continue using this service or prefer to use our App instead, simply turn of the autorenew for SMS in your account.

How does it work?

Using FindaTrade is easy:

  1. Create an account and set your working area and trade categories.
  2. View all local job leads and select the ones you wish to quote for.
  3. Contact the customer, view the job and submit your quote.
  4. Get rated and reviewed for the work you do, helping you win more work.

Payments and Refunds

At FindaTrade we offer a fair pricing structure and refund policy along with a number of payment options. See below for full details on payments and refunds:

Membership payments are billed monthly or quarterly (you decide) to a credit or debit card of your choice.

Your first membership payment is made when you join FindaTrade. You then have a 7 day 'cooling off period' in which you can cancel and claim a full refund as long as you have not purchased any jobs at the reduced membership rate.

Your membership is automatically renewed at your current level 3-5 days before it is due to expire. This enables us to contact you if there is an issue with payment so you do not suffer a loss of service.

If you wish to change membership level or cancel you need to contact us and let us know before the next payment is charged.

Job payments are made each time you wish to purchase the contact details of a job and contact the customer (unless your account has credit to cover the cost or it is a free job covered in your membership plan). Payments can be made using a credit or debit card or through Paypal.

If you are having trouble paying we can also offer job payments by Direct Debit. This is done on a case by case basis and you will need to contact us to request we enable it on your account.

When you join you are given a 14 day free trial of Advert+. This is then renewed automatically at £5 VAT a month. If you wish to stop using Advert+, simply switch off the autorenew in your account.

When you join we also give you a 14 day free trial of Job Text Notifications (SMS) so that you can receive new job leads direct to your mobile phone as well as by email. This is then charged monthly at the amount shown in your account and is dependent on the number of leads you will receive. You can change the trade categories and distance within which you receive text notifications at any time in your account. To cancel, simply switch off the autorenew in your account.

If you are unable to contact a customer for a job lead you have purchased or on initial contact are told the job is no longer available, you can claim a refund. To do this you will need to complete the 'Contact Issue' refund request form in your account for that specific job, telling us what happened. This is then communicated with the homeowner and once verified we will add the refund as credit to your account.

Payments for membership, Advert+ and text notifications are final and we do not provide refunds for these. It is your responsibility to cancel these services before they renew if you no longer wish to use them.
